- Receptionist
- responsibilities
- Greet clients, take personal information, answer client calls, take messages, make referrals, perform miscellaneous clerical duties
- requirements
- Active involvement in a local church and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, application, two personal references, interview, on-the-job training, attend 22 hour training seminar, in service training quarterly, work one 3½ hour shift per week with a one year commitment
- Client Assistant
- responsibilities
- Assist and encourage clients, facilitate parenting education, follow up by telephone and/or personal contacts, make referrals
- requirements
- Active involvement in a local church and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, application, two personal references, interview, on-the-job training, attend 22 hour training seminar, in service training quarterly, work one 3½ hour shift per week with a one year commitment
- Help Line Volunteer
- responsibilities
- Accept forwarded phone calls in your home from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. once a month, schedule appointments, take messages, make referrals, occasional crisis intervention, keep log of all calls
- requirements
- Active involvement in a local church and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, application, two personal references, interview, attend 22 hour volunteer training seminar, work one weekday night or one weekend (5:00 p.m. Thursday through 10:00 a.m. Monday) per month as scheduled with a one year commitment
- Prayer Team
- responsibilities
- Receive monthly prayer calendar and agree to pray daily for a given prayer request or to come to Care Net of Cadillac to pray for clients, staff, volunteers, future direction, the board of directors, or pro-life issues
- requirements
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a willingness to petition God on Care Net of Cadillac's behalf during whatever time you can make available
- Material Assistance
- responsibilities
- Organize diapers, formula, baby food, and items donated for clients, sort and fold baby clothing for distribution to clients
- requirements
- Active involvement in a local church and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, application, two personal references, interview, on-the-job training, work one 3½ hour shift per week with a one year commitment
- Maintenance/Custodial/Laundry
- responsibilities
- Light maintenance and cleaning, doing laundry for Care Net of Cadillac in your home, simple repairs, some moving, lifting, and hauling when necessary
- requirements
- Flexible schedule basis as needed (schedule with Care Net of Cadillac staff)
